General Q and A Answer A5214

Current medical status: asthma
Current medical treatment: advair, singulair, alavert, flonaise, BP medication, albuterol as need, xopenex as needed.

No data was given for how long you have been treated for asthma and whether the therapy has ever eased the symptoms. Sometimes it takes a little time for the right dosage to be determined. In other cases, the therapy was enough for the asthma to be under control, but certain conditions can aggravate the symptoms making the body need bigger doses of the same medications. The conditions that can cause this situation are the same that caused asthma in the first place: exposure to certain allergens, cold air, stress and exercise.

You might want to check with the specialist that takes care of your condition and adjust the doses of the medications.
