Q: Indefinite symptoms of testicular pain
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 5th, 2009
Every time I masturbate I get a dull pain in my left testicle, right before I ejaculate it starts to hurt, the pain peaks as I ejaculate and goes away right after. If I sit for a long time it has a slight barely noticeable pain.
I haven't been sexually active for a bout a year so I don't think it's an STD. This started on Saturday the day before the Superbowl out of nowhere. What is this problem and how can I fix it?

The symptoms you reported are not specific enough to give an exact diagnosis. You might want to visit a urologist for a laboratory urine examination and testicle palpation. The doctor might recommend a testicle ultrasound, too. Depending on the cause, adequate treatment will be recommended.
