was really concerned that this was extremely high. I am also experiencing constipation and stomach upset in that my stomach is sore to touch and I have gas from both ends all the time with Hugh pain.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Rising values are good as they signify progression of pregnancy. But if the rise is not in correspondence with gestational age, then it can signify other serious issues. Discuss with your gynecologist about your symptoms and about getting repeat levels checked to see if the rise is proportionate or not.
If the rise is not proportionate, possibility of multiple pregnancy might be present. Another possibility of very rapid rise could be a molar pregnancy. An ultrasound scan done will help in differentiating between the two.
The sore stomach and pain along with higher levels of hormones could support chances of multiple pregnancy.
Take care.
