I have heard that side effect with some
people.
Honestly, 100 mg is a really low dose so I
am surprised it is making you feel tired.
Perhaps it's too much for you?? If you are
so tired that it could interfere with your
driving then I would definitely tell your
doctor. What time do you take it? Perhaps
if you switch it around and take it a few
hours before bedtime, that would help.
I wouldn't, of course, do anything without
talking to your doctor.

I was prescribed lamictal as well. My
doctor told me to take 25mg for a week,
increase to 50 mg a week, 75 mg a week,
and then to 100 mg. (maximum dosage -I was
told). After the increase to 50 mg, I
was so weak and could not function. My
doctor told me to decrease the dosage
gradually, and discontinued the
medication. Did a psychaitrist put you on
this - it is a really strong medication
from what I understand?
