Q: Incorrect Medical Records

How many other people have gotten copies their medical records only to find the information is incorrect?

This is very frustrating and can cause problems such as getting health insurance or life insurance.
Not to mention other doctors or insurance companies questioning when and why the records are not matching to what we tell them.

Has anyone ever encountered this?

How do you get the doctor or hospital to correct the mistakes?

You should also make sure that it isn't the result of identity theft. Sometimes it's just a doctor's mistake, but other times it may be a person who has stolen your identity and is using your insurance to get medical procedures. It's rare, but it happens.
