3 inch scar from cryotherapy

Basically i was was diagnosed with genital warts, and the cryotherapy treatments left a 3 inch long scar on the right side of my penis, and a 1 inch patch on the left. Before i understand the meaninglessness of this there is a barrier between me and the idea of getting to know girls. Every step they take closer to me the closer they are to discovering the discoloration. lol. Maybe not really, but you get the point. I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars to surgically remove them. That's ridiculous. I'm fine with the scars so long as i stay single. I'm accepting of it. But to others particularly girls it may be a shocker.
Am i overreacting or should i take steps to try to fade the scar. And what is the best method to fade the scar?
