In laws that just moved in-a tv addict.

After five years of marriage, my in laws have to move in to stay with us in our apartment after my father in law met in an accident that require us to care for him. They were able to take care of themself priviously. I dont hate or have any ill feeling towards them, but there is one problem i am facing with my MIL right now. My MIL love watching the tv all the time, and even if they dont watch, the tv watches them!. I dont want my kids to get hooked with too much of tv, since before they moved in, they abide by the 7 o clock 'no tv' curfew, which my husband supports. Now, with my MIL having free hands on the remote, there is just no limit. I am afraid, this will affect my children. Since the children share the same living room for play and study , by having the tv switched on and programmes not really suitable for children is running on tv, i notice my kids have the tendency to sit and watch the progs as well. Hope to get some dvise how best to deal with this without upseting my MIL.
