Current medical status: I don't go number 2 everyday.
Defecating at least three times a week is still considered normal frequency. Defecating less than three times a week is considered constipation. If, despite this, you still want to defecate every day, you might try taking more food rich in insoluble fibers: whole grain foods, green beans, celery, cauliflower, nuts and seeds. Insoluble fibers soften the stool, increase the volume of the feces and shorten the transit time through the intestines. You might want to consult your family doctor about various medications that will help you with the stool frequency. He might also examine you if there is really a need for increasing the stool frequency. Keep in mind that too much use of laxatives or other similar medications can make your bowels not able to defecate without the help of the laxatives, thus making you dependent on laxatives and worsening the condition in long terms, instead of helping.
