when I went for a dental check up and I was lying back in the chair my dentist conducted an extra oral examination without telling me, and he grabbed all the skin on my cheeks and pulled it up and sideways from my face resulting in permanently sagging skin on the front of my cheeks and around my mouth. Does anyone know whether it is normal for an extra oral examination to be carried out this way, has anyone else had this done to them?
