Hello,

First day of last 'normal' AF was Feb 18. Waited around in March for it to come and it didn't. (I'm usually 28-29 cycle.) At almost two weeks late and several negative HPTs I went for a blood test at clinic, also negative. Next day I started spotting (brown then to light red), only when I wiped after going #1, never enough to fill a pantyliner all day (so sorry if TMI!). The next day it was back to brown, only there a few times when wiped, never filled liner either. Now, nothing else has happened with it at all and I'm still getting negatives on tests. It's abnormal because AFs are *always* heavy for me, lasting about 5-6 days. Prior to going to the doc I was also getting light headed each day here and there, I told the doc and my blood pressure was checked, fantastic she said. She said she did not know what was wrong with me. Shocked

Is it possible I ovulated late, conceived, and implantation happened late? I just cannot figure out why I was almost two weeks late, then only spotting for day and a half, and yet still getting negatives.

I'm not on BC or any other medications, no recent stress/changes in life, or changes to diet, etc. Definitely active enough throughout the month for chances of preggers.

Just baffled really. Thanks for any insight!

could be! did they do any type of blood test on you? sometimes those OTC tests don't pick up the hcg in your urine. a blood test would tell you for sure if you are pregnant. good luck to you! i will find out tues. at my dr. apt if i'm pregnant or not (will be our 3rd baby) - i think everyone has a case of spring fever!!! Hi~

Yes, did blood test and it was negative. This was right before spotting happened, at two weeks late. Concern is that maybe I tested too early because of this 'spotting' (thinking it *could* be implantation). I am continuing to test every 3-4 days and if nothing will go in for physical in case something else is wrong since this 'supposed' AF was a day at most hardly there at all. LOL!

Good luck to you, let us know how your appt goes! Smile
