implantation bleeding?
Posted: 06-28-08 23:00pm

Hey guys this is my first post so don't shoot me if I do something wrong Razz

If you don't wanna read this all (cause I put too many details) just scroll down for quick info

My boyfriend and I had sex today and after a while we noticed that i had some light bleeding -ahem- down there Razz

It was kind of like the light bleeding you get after periods and such so at the time I was wondering if it was just random? I don't know. I guess it was a little rough sex so I'm hoping right now it was just a cut or something. (please back me up on that!! Confused)

I got home and I suddenly remembered something about bleeding from pregnancy and realized it could've even been implantation bleeding Shocked.

The last time we had sex was June 13th (protected with a condom) and the first day of my period was June 5th. I usually have short periods like anywhere from 2-4 days o.o (just for the sake of details)

My boyfriend swears on his life that he didn't come close to ejaculating when we last had sex (on the 13th) even though we had a condom the whole time.

My breasts have been sore lately but I thought it just has to do with natural stuff (minus pregnancy).

I don't wanna be pregnant D:

Quick details:
-after my boyfriend and I had sex, I had light bleeding
-we last had sex on June 13, period on June 5
>used condom, no ejaculation
-what caused the bleeding? D:

it could have just been from rough sex..i had the same thing happened to me this past month actually, it was very very light as well...good for using a condom...sounds like you were protected so i wouldn't worry too much

plus..someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure implantation bleeding wouldn't occurr THAT soon after sex

Implantation bleeding does not occur right after sex. It occurs when an already fertilized egg implants itself into the uterine wall.

The bleeding was most likely some kind of vaginal tear or just rough sex irritating your cervix. You used condoms and he did not ejaculate so you have nothing to worry about.

perhaps you should get on birth control for extra protection

If you got a little rough then it's possible you bled from that. Did you use enough lubrication? Were you sore at all afterwards?

For right now, don't stress about it and wait for your period and take a hpt if you miss. Implantation bleeding doesn't happen during/directly after sex.

NOOO!! Like I was thinking from having sex like two weeks before... even though it seems highly unlikely Razz

lol I thought I was clear about that. I'm more worried about last time, I know implantation bleeding occurs later on

Whoops, I was thrown off by your title and then I read it too fast Embarassed

I really think you're fine. Don't stress about it. You used protection, there was no ejaculation, so I doubt there's a pregnancy.

Agreed with Maddie

Sorry I also misread what you wrote.

Is there any reason your not on birth control? I only ask because you don't seem to trust the effectiveness of condoms and you don't want to get pregnant so why not have double the protection? Birth control when used corrextly is 99% effective and along with condoms you'll be set

I guess that's a good idea o.o I'll ask my doctor about it when I get the chance.

I'd say since your profile puts you at just about 15 years old, birth control would be imperative Wink

Babies at 15 aren't much fun. You can even go to your local planned parenthood and get birth control there as well as condoms for little to no cost
