I had sex with my boyfriend and we used a condom. A couple weeks later my period was a day late. When my period did start it was brownish and then became red. Usually my period is pretty light but this time it was heavy for one day and then pretty much stopped. I have never had problems with my period before. Also I have symptoms of pregnancy. I have sore breasts, nausea, and I am more tired. Also I have noticed I have a runny nose and sneeze like crazy. So am I pregnant or having an usual period?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Your symptoms (lighter periods, brown discharge, nausea, breast soreness, increased tiredness, flu like symptoms) could be suggestive of possibility of pregnancy. Condoms are associated with failures, if not used properly or right from the start. Pregnancy could result if the intercourse was during your fertile days. Consider visiting your gynecologist/healthcare provider for thorough examination and tests to confirm/rule out pregnancy.
Take care.
