So, tooth #19 has always been kind of wimpy.

And it's finally given up.

I went to the dentist and he said I had a bit of bone left, so I could try the root canal ($700-900) or I could have it removed, and then do implantation (about $2000).

I'm honestly thinking about implantation because there's no guarantee that the root canal will work, and honestly, i don't want to flush 800 bucks down the drain, and still have to shell out 2k when it doesn't work.

Has anyone had this done before?

No, but the implantation would intrigue me more than the root canal...This would be permanent and would influence my decision....

When it comes to prices they are reasonable in Poland where I have my teeth done. I live in the Uk and here prices are extremely high for example two are 1200 and 2000 in the Uk, 5 implants are 3000 in Poland and 5000 in the Uk. If you need to read more go to dentalpoland(dot) com and check their price list.
