Hi, over the past few weeks i have been experiencing really sore breasts. My nipples have developed little white dots on them and there are white bumps which have appeared around the nipple, they are extremely sensitive to the point where clothing touching them is painful. me and my bf had intercourse ( using the pull out method) approximately 21 days ago and i wondered whether this could be impending menstruation or a sign of pregnancy? I have been feeling extremely tired, light headed and headachy also.

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

In all probability you have developed infection of the skin of the breast or a breast abscess that is coming up to the surface. The infection can make you feel drained out, and even cause slight rise of temperature, and headache. Treatment is with antibiotics, and anti-inflammatories. Please do not ignore, and consult a doctor, as this can become troublesome and need incision and drainage.

However, if it is only tenderness, then yes, if you are close to ovulation, then you can become pregnant. Hope this helps. Take care!
