Im pregnant,at first i was scared and didnt know what to do.So i told the father im going to get an abortion. And he said no don't get one.He said that he would be here for the baby and me.But i missed up bad in your relationship.A couple of days ago we talked and he said again don't get an abortion i care about you and the baby. But we haven't talked since then.He doesn't call or come by anymore.Does he still want to be in the baby's and my life.Should i give him time or just forget about it? Do what is best for you and the baby. Don't depend on anyone else but yourself to make this decision. You are the one that has to live with the choice/child.

Don't have this child just because you think it will keep him around. That hardly works out well for anyone.

keep the baby. even if you dont want to take care of the child once it is born. someone somewhere in the world will want a child and wont be able to have one. if things dont work out and you cant take care of the child or arent exactly in the mom train of thought, then you can give someone else the child they have always wanted

If you really want to have an abortion, you have every right to get one. It's your body. Good luck with whichever you decide.

The person who asked this question has probably made their sescision by now, but i just want to respond to seventeenqueen's post:

No one should feel obliged to risk serious injury or even death (the maternal fatality rate is 45 in 100,000 in the UK) just to give up the baby at the end of it. The care system is packed with unwanted children; unfortunately they usually disabled, older or in sibling groups. The people who have passed over these children as not worthy are the ones who will be hanging around, waiting for a healthy baby they can get get their hands on- i'm not sure if these are the sort of people who would make good parents.
