My doctor gave me zopiclone 7yrs ago, i was having trouble sleeping because the anti-depressants i was taking were keeping me awake. the doctor had no problem giving them to me month after month .year after year. and now if i run short one month.( which does not happen very often) and i put in for my repeat prescription early, i have a lecture on how i should not be still taking them after all this time. A bit late after he allowed me to get addicted to them in the first place !!! And he makes me feel like a junkie . there is no way i can come off them, i take one 7.5mg a night, and now and again i go down to half , but one bad day and im back to a whole one. it does not bother me that i will be taking them for the rest of my life, but it does bother me that i have to beg the doctor for them. even if i go see him for something else, he reads my notes and is reminded that i am still on them. then i get the worst lecture, and come out of there feeling that im a low life. I hate the control he has over my life, especially as it was he that got me on them in the first place. So my question to the people on here that i read are taking two7.5 a night, where please do you get them from, because my doctors wont let me have any more than 28 a month.. i dont want to take two a day, but now and again i need an extra one or two.. can they be bought on the net ???? can anyone help

Ok first off, even if you ARE addicted, trying to find a zopiclone dealer online is soo not a good idea... I've been taking zopiclone for the past few months, and unless I am sleeping next to someone I have to take it nightly, @ 7.5 mg... If you're having issues with your Doctor, get a different one!! I know it's a pain in the ass and takes a while, but it's better to be referred to someone else than to mess with online stuff, you don't know how trustworthy it is... Anyways, if your Doctor won't help you out, get a nearby hospital to refer you to a specialist, or try finding a sleep clinic in your area... If you find the source of your insomnia, it makes it easier to quit... Good luck. Smile

hmmmmm. Annoying doctor eh? Yep i can tell your one of the people that could have taken anti depressants sometime in their life. Lemme say something first, those things don't do jack. Drugs dont make you FEEL happy they make your mind think that your going to feel happy so you feel happy when in reality your not happy so you dont feel happy. Its hard to explain. Let's leave it at this, they don't work.

Well, I'd either get a new one, tell him to stop lecturing you, or just plain get off the stuff. Run this idea through your head till you can't anymore.

Addicted To Zopiclone
Dear Friends,
I am addicted to Zopiclone and want to stop. I was given them by my doctor because of international travel four years ago and never stopped. I take 3-7.5 pills a night. I tried to go cold turkey and thought I was going to die from anxiety and other symptoms. Is there some kind of withdrawal formula that anyone knows that does not involve taking other drugs. Last night I seat my limit at 2-7.5 pills and was able to do it.If I go to this level and stay there how long before I can further reduce the dose, etc. Any support and assistance you can provide would be helpful. I am currently alchohol free for 10 months through AA. I am going to go to NA for assistance for the Zopiclone, but I also need the practical physical path to recovery.
Warm Greetings,
Whiteswan9
