About a week and a half ago my boyfriend and i had sex ( been with him for over a year, been sexually active the whole relationship) and i urinated during sex. I sometimes have female ejaculation ( LOTS of clear fluid ) but i was certin that the last time was urine, normally its odorless, and this time it smelt like pee. anyways that was a night time and when i woke up i noticed that my vagina was very sore irritated and red ,( the Opening of vagina ). the next day after that i started to have Discharge that was clear or greyish mainly clear with NO ODOR, the discharge made the soreness more irritated and also i have/had mild cramps (more on right pelvic side), like i am one day before from my period AND the last 2 days i have been noticing mild burning when i pee and i always feel as if i have to pee. This has been going on for over a week now. I have had yeast infections in the past and bacterial infections in my past. My last recent bacteria infection was January 17th and was prescribed a vaginal Gel. thats what i am thinking i have again. BUT WAS WONDERING IF WHEN URINE GETS IN THE VAGINAL CANAL IF IT CAN CAUSE A BACTERIAL/YEAST INFECTION? just would like to hear a opinion . Thanks

urine is sterile unless you have a bladder/urinary tract infection. Check out d-mannose, it's a simple sugar that the bacteria which cause urinary tract and bladder infections LOVE, BUT they will be drawn to it and flushed out of your bladder instead of staying on your bladder walls. So drink lots of water with the d-mannose. It's not hard to take at all. I've heard the suggestions to drink cranberry juice but I hate that stuff lol. It probably works too, though.

I think even if pee is sterile, it can irritate the vagina. But it sounds like you have a uti/bladder infection.

best wishes

Me too!
Ok I do the same thing. It doesn't happen very often, but every now and then I pee during intercourse. Then a few days later I've got an excessive discharge. After reading your post I think there is something to it. It may sterile, but it still has to cause some sort of irritation after intercouse. It causes me to have a mucusy type of discharge and a lot of it. What do you think can be done to help prevent it. I have no control over the urination part. I pee before, and watch what I drink. Nothing seems to help.

Renee, I'd suggest inserting some plain organic greek yogurt. Be sure there aren't any added sugars or flavors. The good bacteria will help balance the pH of the vagina and the discharge should stop.
