My Brothers are identical twins, and my husbands sisters are identical twins, one of my brothers is with my husbands sisters, and his other sister is also with an identical twin, all of their children are single births there is 6 children between the 4 of them and not a single set of twins (as well as the one sisters twin hsubands tiwn brother is married with 3 children all single births as well). I hope that wasn't confusing Smile

They were all told its not hereditary as they were concerned as well... so there you go 3 sets of identical twins and 2 of them with identical twins and none had twins themselves Smile

Oh my goodness! That must be so confusing! My step dad is a fraternal twin, but thats about it. But I have cousins in Kentucky on my Dads side, who are identical, and look almost exactly like my sister and I did when we were young!
