Dec08 - I'm 38 female - UK
I had severe ice pick pains in both my eyes - Id had them before but not for 2 weeks. I was taking paracetamol and ibeprofen back to back for 2 weeks.
I ended up getting a awful pain in my left arm and felt sick - I could hold onto the steering wheel with that arm/hand while going to work and ended up so sick to drive home again - it lessoned by 3pm so I drove home.
After getting my kids to bed I went to casualty - and stayed a week - I started getting paralysed limbs and they would last about an hour and ahalf before easing up again. Then another limb the next day so now both limbs on my left side were paralysed. By day 5 I was paralysed from the neck down for 5 and half hours.

Drs only let me out late on Xmas Eve cos i begged and promised to lie down all day - which icouldn't do any more anyway! I kno wknow I should have stayed in as all appointments with neuro etc were not'Urgent' anymore. I had a CT scan, lumber puncture, many blood tests - all normal.

I have been back to hospital with more paralysis since and uncontrollable shaking - all starting with severe headaches.

A couple of weeks ago I got tunnel visions and total blindness before the tunnel vision opened again and pins and needles all over my face.

No Dr knows what it is = appart one neurologist who suspected Migraine Paralysis - but when I questioned him about that being one side of the body not both like mine - he shrugged and said it is very very rare to happen

does anyone else have this?

Is it migraine or something else? - people have even suggested it is more than one thing.
