I had upper left abdominal pain 17 years
ago and the dr said it was gastritis.
Since then I have had off and on pain in
the upper left abdominal area. I also
will have pain in the back area. Sometimes
the pain is stabbing, sometimes dull,
sometimes pinching, or sometimes just an
ache. Sometimes I have nausea and
indegestion after I eat. In the past I've
also had a burning feeling but not lately.
The pain and discomfort has been more
frequent in the last few years. In 05 my
dr ran a few tests, said all was fine. It
seems the pain and discomfort will come
for a while and then not be too noticeable
and then return worse again. The last 2
times I have had it I have also had rib
pain on the left. My whole rib cage will
sort of hurt at times. If I lay flat on
the floor and turn to the right my ribs
and back muscles hurt. I do have back
problems so I'm not sure what causes this.
My ribs also seem to pop when I rub on
them.
I have no family history of any abdominal
anything. I do have a family history of
hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. I do
have low blood sugar and have had problems
with it for 11 years. I also have an
autoimmune thryoid problem and am on meds
for that the last 7 years.
What could be causing this abdominal
discomfort and rib pain?
Helicobacter pillory is a bacterium that

Gastroscopy is an endoscopic procedure

Gastroscopy is the best method for

You can request gastroscopy because your
symptoms last too long.
