I was diagnosed with IBS maybe 6 years ago. Just recently I was in the hospital because I was dehydrated from vomitting and diahrea. MY potassium was low and my blood pressure was 150/102. In the hospital all they did was give Nexium and Zofran and Dilaudid for pain. Now I am home and still have the same symptoms. MY Primary just had me do a 24 hr urine test. We are waiting on the results. My gastroenterologist gave me hycosamine for spasms which i find constipate me and then I am in pain again for a different reason. I am trying a high fiber diet staying away from foods that hurt me. MY medical history consists of 3 c-sections, left ovary removed and gallbladder taken out. Could scar tissue be the cause of all this nonesense.
