Q: i think i am pregnant

i had sex for the first time and we used no form of birth control it has now been three months since..the first month after i got a period but it was a good 2 weeks late and not normal..second month again not normal..and now three months and i am spotting..i havent had any symptoms that i can think of that are abnoral for me besides the period thing..i feel like my stomoch and breasts are getting bigger and i dont know what to make of all of this..i just graduated from high school and i am going to college in 2 months and im so scared..please help

You are very brave to admit on this site that you didn't use birth control. WHY?? Ok, my advice to you would be to pick up a home pregnancy test. You might just have irregular periods from the stress of worrying about being pregnant. I hope you will use birth control for now on. Condoms work very well. You also might want to make an appt. with either planned parenthood or a OB/GYN to get started on birth control. There are many different types out there and either planned parenthood or the doctor can help you decide which is best for you. Personally, I think if you are single and want to be sexually active, make the guy wear a condom. It's the only birth control that will protect you against pregnancy and disease.

i have recently started on the pill and im concerned that if i am pregnant if i continue i will hurt the baby..i just found out from my mom that she didnt know that she was pregnant with me until she was 5 months along..she had normal periods and everything and that worries me all the much more
