Im not sure where to begin, I seem to have a multitude of problems. A few years ago I started to get irregular periods, up till this point I was able to run my calendar by them. The first time it happened it was after sex with my ex. I didnt have a period for 2 months. I thought I was pregnant, took a pregnancy test but came out negative and a few weeks later I got my period. After that, the period lasted almost a full month, but with days with just spotting. Now they come and go, some will last a month or up to 5 months with spotting mostly, other times I will go 2 months without. On top of all that, I have had a clear vaginal discharge for a while. Ive also experienced abdominal pain, pain around the sides, pain beneath my right rib cage and occasionally pain in the middle of my chest. I get lower back pains alot. On a few occasions, the pain in my back would be so severe it hurt to breathe while standing, this also occuried when I got the pain beneath the right rib cage.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
It is difficult to comment on the cause for the symptoms that you describe without examining you. When the symptoms are present, consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination and further evaluation (investigations like ultrasound scan, hormonal tests, laparoscopic examination etc) as suggested by examination findings. Treatment as needed (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you to control the symptoms and regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
