Q: I probably should have said hello first!? :)

Trust me to dive into posting on the forums and totally forgetting to say hello first of all! giggle

Here as I like the idea of being able to get things of my chest and remaining anonymous! One of the good things about the internet is the right to remain anonymous as and when you need/like. I am very artistic and love drawing, sketching and painiting. I am serious about my music but have something of an eclectic taste. Erik Satie sits comfortably next to Marilyn Manson on my Cd shelf!

The most amazing thing I have done to date is experience the wonders of motherhood. I have just the one child, beautiful, amazing and lovely! And that's just for starters.

Please feel free to say hi, I am by nature a sociable creature and like meeting new people.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by and have a look see at this newbie's ramblings.

Hello Seeks_ Solace and welcome to ehealth forum!
I consider myself to have a wide range of tastes in music but I had never heard of Eric Satie. Thanks for putting me on to him. I listened to his Gnossiennes No 1 via YouTube and it was hauntingly beautiful. I didn't have time to listen to more but I will definitely be adding his work to my music collection.
I am a Moderator here- a combination of greeter and hall monitor lol- and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the site. You can respond to this post or private message me.
Welcome aboard and, once again, welcome to ehealth forum.

As I responded to posts on this site, I continued to listen to Satie's music on YouTube. I heard Gymnopedie #1, a composition I have heard many times but never knew the name of or composer. Lovely.

deteragram, many thanks for your welcome.

I have introduced a couple of people to Erik Satie recently oddly enough. Each had heard his music on TV/film etc, loved it but had no idea who it was by.

If you liked Gnossienne No 1, try listening to No 3, is achingly beautiful, for want of a better phrase! Smile

Will be sure to head your way if I need any adice, thanks for the offer.

All the best.
