I need some advice about my condition.

Hello everyone,
I am a 21 y/o male, recently I visited my doctor, and have a blood test, urinalysis and chest xray. My doctor found out that I have some infection on my lungs and she gives me some med's for TV medication that will lasts for 6 months. The problem is my urinalysis result, my doctor also found out that I have many bacteria on my urine and asked me when is the last time I have sex.. I told her that it was a month ago and is totally unprotected. Then she asked me if my partner is a girl or a guy, I told her it was a girl. Then she recommend that I am going to take an "HIV Screening Test" which makes me feel paranoid. Cause I can't believe that I am to be infected with an HIV. I was thinking to take the test or not. Anyone could give me some advise or help about this situation. I was thinking to it for days already.
