Now that we found out we are having a girl i really want to do something with the walls in the nursery. Right now they are a light brown color. The carpet is a medium brown and all the trim is white. I just dont think it fits a girl very well. Its our house so we can paint the walls and everything I just cant decide what colors and stuff. I am doing Winnie the Pooh as my theme and my crib is a Natural wood color. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

with a winnie the pooh theme, i think i'd go light on the walls. like a light yellow, or sage, or pink.

can you post a pic of the bedding?

Ooh, I think a sage color would look awesome with Winnie the Pooh!

that's cute! i've never seen such bright girly pooh bedding. i would go with a sage or the darker pink like the flowers on the border of the quilt.

if you're feeling really ambitious, you could do the top half of the wall that dark pink and the bottom half white wainscoting. (i'll go find a picture in case you don't know what that it.)

edit: here's a pic with the wainscoting. we're going to eventually add that to our nursery. i think it looks so nice.

Well, you have to consider that carpet. I would probably go with a sage or a light yellow.
