My boyfriend and I had sex for the first time last Saturday (November 13) at around 1AM. It all just kind of happened in the moment so no protection was used but he pulled out. The start of my last period was October 23 and I have a regular period of 28 days so I should have received it today (November 20). My boyfriend could tell how scared and nervous I was the next day so we went and got the Plan-B pill and I took it within 36 hours. I'm so scared I might possibly be pregnant because I know even though he did pull out that sperm can escape early. I just started college and I have such big dreams and I really can't be pregnant right now and have it slow me down. I'm not ready whatsoever. Anyone have any advice?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Periods can be delayed due to stress for about 5-10 days. Since you took the emergency contraceptive within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, chances of pregnancy are minimal. Emergency contraceptives work if taken within first 72 hours of unprotected intercourse.
Look out for symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy and report immediately to your gynecologist if you see any new symptom developing. Wait for your periods to start. If they do not start in next 10 days of your actual period dates, or if you have abnormal periods, then consider getting examination and tests done by your gynecologist to confirm/rule out pregnancy.
Take care.
