Wait, you've had a miscarriage but this is the first time you've been pregnant? That doesn't really make sense. This should be your second pregnancy if you've been pregnant before.

Don't:
Drink alcohol
Smoke
Do drugs
Take medication without checking with a doctor that it's okay

Do:
Take prenatal vitamins
Get your pregnancy confirmed by a doctor or a testing center
Establish an OB/GYN for prenatal care
Eat a balanced diet

And you might want to talk to your parents if you're still living at home. They deserve to know that their young daughter planned a pregnancy under their roof.

How far along are you? Have you been to the doctor? When are you due? Do your parents know? Will you continue school? Where will you live? How will you support this baby?

What about HEALTH insurance? Going to the doctor every month during pregnancy and delivering a baby is really expensive - you need to check with your parents if you are covered under their plan or if you'll need to seek out some medical help.

I'm going to assume your parents do not know or you wouldn't have such a cavelier attitude about how you two wanted to have a baby. Do not assume they will be pleased. In fact, they are going to be pretty angry about it. Your boyfriend is old enough for charges of statutory rape to be put against him also - so you two may wish to be prepared for that.

And welcome to motherhood. I've been a mom for 22 years (since I was 16) and you've just stepped onto a path I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Good luck!

how long have you known this guy? Are you aware your body isn't ready for a baby? You could get pregnant again and once again miscarry. You should consider a puppy.

AGAIN i completely agree with Ingi? how irrisposible of you?? there are woman out there who would give anything to have a baby and theres you going about it so carelessly.you havn't stepped aside and even considered looking at the bigger picture.the first words my head is screaming out to say is "how dare you" be so careless and inconsiderate to firstly that poor baby, secondly your parents and thirdly yourself. You are going to need some serious help girl.

Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy. This is apparently something that you and your boyfriend really wanted, so you must be very happy with each other.

And although this path of teen pregnancy will be hard, as many previous teen mothers can tell you, know that there are many websites and groups to support you. You are not alone in this.

The first step, as AyaMiyaki mentioned, is to ensure healthy choices for you and the baby. She provided some great examples.
