Hi, I am a 25 year old female and I recently found out I have shingles after seeing a dermatologist for a very painful, itchy rash. I have had two surgeries in the past two months and go through alot with my children. My children are 4 and 5 both with mild autism and one rencently diagnosed with tourette's syndrome so, I have alot of stress in my life as well. My question is, why did I get shingles? Is my immune system too low? Should I see an immunologist?
