Have you seen a neurologist?
When people think of "epilepsy" they think of someone falling on the floor thrashing in seizures.
There are many type of epilepsy.
Epilepsy is abnormal electric activity in diverse brain localizations may elicit hallucinatory phenomena of a peculiar nature. "Hallucination" does not necessarily mean "visual".
Different types of epilepsy may be affect different senses in different people. Some may see "visual", others may have strange senses of "smell" that won't go away, while others, their hearing may be affected with "hearing" constant sounds and still others may have a certain "taste" stuck in their mouth.
Please see your doctor....preferably a neurologist.
Good luck and God Bless.
