I am a 53 year old woman. Every night, for the most part, on just the outside of my shins, I have severe pain/cramps. What is this and what is it caused by? And how can I help it??? Please help. Thank you very much!
I read your question and i understand your concern. Muscle cramps at night can be a mere muscle spasm, a vascular pathology or age related arthralgias. Take some low doses of chloroquine with advil and see if it helps. Talk to yoru doctor and let them have a look and assess.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
