Adjusting to a new onset illness or
disease is difficult. I think it is pretty
normal to feel like you don't want to go
back to work. Going to a lesser paying job
and reducing your SS benefits is a
terrible predicament to be in. Will your
doctor support you in going on disability
until you can get SS benefits? This is one
way to go about things.
How are you feeling? Do you feel better on
your meds? Are you feeling more stable
now? I know you have been very concerned
about your future. Try not to stress too
much. Easier said than done, I know but it
will help you if you can try to find a way
to relieve stress. Keep us up to date on
things.
