I am actually having the same problem. I started taking YAZ in late January and skipped my period in February. But when I got this one it has been twice as heavy and twice as painful, and its still going and its been about 9-11 days when they normaly last 5-6. Any advice?

I was on Yaz and I bleed for five weeks straight. I had to get blood transfusions. You should really go to the doctor. With some females Yaz isn't strong enough. I got switched to Yasmin.

I hated Yaz. I would bleed after sex everytime and would spot days on end. After going to my gyno she said it has the hormones and I just quit using bc all together. I've heard good things about Yasmin so I'd switch brands and see if that helps.
