hi dr i have an ejaculation problem ,not sure if im normal or worried about nothing as i suffer from ocd and anxiety .

when i masterbate and orgasm sometimes i think no semen will be expelled ,but after say 4 contractions it comes out dribbles

but other times when i orgasm the semen shoots out straight away pretty much.IS THIS NORMAL.

so my ocd is making me masterbate 4 or 5 times a day to check if the semen comes out after 4 contractions or straight away and im getting sore from all the testing.

thanks dr .plus wiki says that ejaculation happens on the 2nd contraction .so as mine is not always on the 2nd contraction im worried

Hello.

You seem to be overly anxious about this issue. And it is not just your OCD that's making you check and recheck, but it is the inner anxiety about the process that makes you check. If you can go through the process of erection and orgasm and enjoy it, you don't need to worry much. Also, with frequent masturbation, the amount of the fluid reduces, which can increase your anxiety even more. Otherwise the description does not point at any problem.

If you are taking SSRI group of medication for your OCD and anxiety, the ejaculation changes could be the side effects of those medicines. You may need to check this with your doctor.

Hope this helps.
