Recently i have noticed a few strange things about myself. for example when i put my feet up on the coffee table my legs will go numb pretty quickly, when laying in bed and holding my phone above my face the same numbness happens pretty fast as well. I run college track and am in good shape, i eat healthy and take vitamins. i just had my sports physical and had good blood pressure. another thing that has been happening more frequently is when standing up quickly i get light headed this has always happened to me but not this often. i get a similar feeling when coming out of the starting blocks when running sprints on the track. like i said i am in great shape and workout daily. what is wrong with me?!

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. That numbness you mentioned is just a part of bad posture as both these postures you mentioned are unhealthy and lead to such numbness. No worries. If the numbness persists in all posture and does not relieve, talk to a neurologist forother possibilities.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
