I am 18 years old. I have been dating the boy I lost my virginity to for a year, though I have had other sexual encounters with other guys before this relationship. At the beginning of our relationship we were very sexually active, having sex most everyday. However, in the past few months or so, I have almost completely lost my sex drive. I just never seem to be in the mood. I find this strange because I figured 18 years old is a relatively sexually active age.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Reduced libido or loss of sex drive in women could be due to causes like stress, anemia, hormonal derangements, hypoactive sexual desire disorder, medication use like antidepressants/anti-seizure drugs, pain during sex, inability to reach orgasm, arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, neurological causes, alcohol use, too much of household chores & responsibilities, psychological causes, relationship issues, hyperprolactinemia etc. The exact cause for your symptoms (loss of sex drive) can only be made out after careful evaluation. Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for thorough examination and further evaluation to look for the underlying cause for the loss of sex drive that you describe. Treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and investigations results) would be started to help you have healthy sexual life. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
