Q: I feel pregnant but have a negative test ..

Hey so my period's are late, I have to urinate frequently and my partner and I have been having un proptected intercourse. So one would expect I'd be pregnant ... Now I already have three children so I know what being pregnant feels like, and I do feel like I am pregnant. However my home pregnancy test came up negative. I have taken 3 different tests all of which are 3 different brands. What else could be causing lack of menstruation and frequent bladder use?? I have gotten a blood test to determine if I am or not .. however now is the waiting game for the results, and I am racking my brain to think of what else it could be .. I'm not stressed and all my life I have been extreamly regular even down to the time of day. If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts I'd be interesting in hearing. Thanks guys Smile

If you feel like you did during your other pregnancies, then its probable that you're pregnant. Did you test positive right away with your other pregnancies?

But otherwise, its really not that uncommon to miss periods and not be prengnant. There are a lot of things that can affect your cycle.

I'd wait for the results before you start to worry too much over what else could be causing this.

Well I think maybe I 'feel' pregnant because we are trying for another and I want to be pregnant. Every other time it has been very easy for me to fall pregnant and I've tested positive straight away. Now is just the waiting game I guess.

Turns out I am not pregnant, despite efforts to fall pregnant. But I still haven't gotten my periods yet. Today I'm getting furthur tests done, little bit scary ... the doctor said something about screening for cancerous cells. Hmmmm ... never wanted my period's this much before.

The mind is a very powerful tool. Women can make themselves believe they are pregnant and the brain can cause your body to react in a way you could be. Cancerous cells? Cervical cancer? Stress can also make your body react in different ways. Let me know how things turn out.

Yeah everything turned out fine ... couldn't work out why I had stopped my menstral cycle. Butit eventually came back
