I feel like I am falling a sleep way too fast.

User Profile
Recently when I am awakened from sleep, usually when my son calls for me, and I try to go back to sleep, I feel like I am falling a sleep way too fast. My body feels like it tingles and somewhat out of control.. Is this normal? Sometimes I feel like I lose control of my limbs and it's kind of hard to wake myself up from it.

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

The symptoms described by you can be due to anxiety, blood pressure changes, muscle fasciculations which are involuntary contractions, tingling, trembling etc due to electrolyte imbalance or endocrine cause.
If it occurs frequently then you can consider getting yourself evaluated for Blood pressure and request for tests as:
1)Serum electrolyte including Serum calcium and potassium levels.
2)Serum B12 levels and Blood sugar
3)Thyroid function tests
Meanwhile you can start taking any Multivitamin capsule once a day for 3 months.Have adequate well balanced meal.Drink lots of water.Avoid stress.
Take care!
