Hello and welcome to e health forum. ‎

The risk for HIV though present in your case due to the unprotected oral sex you recieved, it is considerably less since the duration of the exposure was very less.

In addition the risk of infection from a female to a male is about 0.04 % per act of unprotected sexual intercourse . Oral sex has a lesser risk than this .

But I would not advice you to take chances with a incurable disease like HIV.

Hence you may benefit by undergoing a HIV Antibody + P24 Antigen testing after 12 weeks after the date of exposure. A very accurate test result can be obtained by testing after 12 weeks of exposure.

HIV is a incurable disease. Precaution and continuous testing is recommended procedure so that chances of detection and proper treatment can be increased and other individuals getting infected due to unknown cases can be prevented.

Doing a test at 6 months is recommended as a fool proof and final confirmation to detect any late antibody production.
