My erections have been pretty good but my concern recently for the past few months is that I don't ejaculate semen much. If I have sex one day, the next day I won't be able to ejaculate. I've gone to the doctor to get tested and my doctor did a thyroid test. He said everything was fine. I'm 22 and I don't think that's normal for me. if anyone has any advice please let me know.

Sexual Health - Men Answer A35116
Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

The normal sperm count is over 15 million sperms, volumes between 1.0 mL and 6.5 mL are normal and regarding the liquefaction time, it normally takes less than 20 minutes for the sample to change from a thick gel into a liquid.

If you feel that you are having low semen volume then you can get a semen analysis done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
