I am 33 years old and I cannot poop. I do not ever feel the need to poop, I will have to take a laxitive after about 2-3 weeks of no poop. Sometimes the laxitives dont even help? I dont know what to do??? I am active and eat healty and drink plenty of fluids. I don't feel bloated and I have no erge to go at all?????

I try and relax and still nothing, what could be the problem or what can I do to fix it?

Hello and thanks for the query

Having no urge for having bowel movements, long standing constipation could be due to bowel innervation problems or autonomic neuropathy.

You might consult a gastroenterologist for a proper assessment and further treatment.

He might get a few tests done including a barium study, anal manometry studies.

this will help to give you a clear diagnosis of your condition.
