Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Glyciphage SR (also known as Metformin) is an insulin modifier drug. Most common cause for PCOS is insulin resistance, so the use of insulin modifiers and hormonal contraceptive pills usually helps with treating the symptoms and regulating periods. Be in regular follow-up with your gynecologist and report any unusual/new symptoms immediately. Once PCOD/PCOS changes are under control, ovulation inducers can be started to help you have more than 1 egg released from ovary to increase your pregnancy chances.
Take care.
