Hey,

I am a 19 year old male, in good health.

I have asthma, not extremely severe, but its under control.

For the last 24 hours I have been EXTREMELY short of breath.

It feels like I can't catch my breath, like when I have an asthma attack.

I have used my puffers numerous times, but they don't.

I smoked hookah the other night, and that might have triggered it, but It's not my asthma,
I know this because I wen to the hospital soon after I couldn't catch my breath and they said I had a perfect breathing test.
The thing is... I have smoked hookah many times before, and this has never happened to me! Im so confused

I don't understand how I can pass the test perfectly and not be able to feel the 'satisfied' feeling of a full breath...
I also took x-rays, and they said everything was fine!
I don't think its anxiety, because I don't have anxiety ever...

Does anybody know what this could be? I am in dire need, please!!!!
I can't sleep and It feels like I have been holding my breath for 24 hours!

Thank you so much for any help!

AJ

Update: I think I have found what the problem is...

I am in university, and am living in a crappy student house...with an unfinished basement.

I went down there for the first time since the problem arose and it was much stronger...

Do you think it could be mold? I couldn't really see mold there, but there is a hell of a lot of dust!

Hey again!

I don't know what it could be still.

It's been a few days, and I am having tremendous trouble breathing...

I went the hospital and they didn't know what they could do for me, since I took asthma tests and they were all good! It was under control on the machines, but I was still struggling to breath.

Then, yesterday, I went to the clinic at my university, they told me to up the dose on my inhalers, but it hasn't done anything, either!

I am in need of help, please! anyone?
