The symptoms you reported might be related to a lack of calcium and/or magnesium in the blood. Both these conditions might cause muscle twitches and soreness along nerves. Taking supplements with calcium and magnesium might solve your condition.
Another possible cause might be intervertebral disc degeneration. The disc might be putting pressure on the nerve roots in the vicinity, thus causing burning sensations or pain in the area the nerves are responsible for.
You might want to visit an orthopedist to check if conservative treatment or surgery is best for your condition.
