I've been using the nuva ring for a while now. This last time I accidently left it in for 4 weeks. I have had it out for a week now and have yet to get my period. I've gotten cramps in my foot and pains in my back like I do during my period, but no period. I am worried I am pregnant...especially since I've been feeling sick lately, but maybe it's all in my head.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you have been sexually active during the time of not changing the Nuvaring, then possibilities of pregnancy cannot be ruled out (as it might not give you the desired protection). Consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately) before inserting a new Nuvaring. If you suspect to be pregnant, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
