Sometimes it takes a while for everything inside to get back in the right order...They do so much moving of internal parts around that you can actually hurt...I remember that this shocked me too...If you have any questions call your doctor...This is all part of the after surgery, Hysterectomy questions...He or his nurse should be able to help you...

Good luck,
Caroline

Yes...This shocked me...Sometimes one doctor will do it and another won't...I believe they are examining the tissue where they have sewed it together (such as I have) for the cervix to be sure that there are no cancer signs of disease...If I didn't have this, they would be checking the original cervix to make sure that everything is OK...Either way they are doing all that they can to keep us women safe and healthy....Hope this helps....
