Hi,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am glad to help you out. Several studies have shown that women have a higher rate of a natural pregnancy occurring after having a hysterosalpingogram. It is thought that the dye may help to resolve a partial blockage or to flush out some debris in the fallopian tubes that had been hindering conception. Hence, HSG can actually be followed by a natural pregnancy but itâs only a diagnostic test and not an infertility treatment. Itâs good to go ahead with the test as advised by your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
