hysterectomy side effects ? Posted: 04-27-08 16:12pm
i had the surgery in 2004 everything was
fine until this past couple of years. on
and off i have had problems above my
incision with weight-a pouch.having sex is
painful. my pants don't fit and i can't
suck in my tummy. i have no sex drive. i
feel fat and ugly all over now. my moods
are strange. at times that i used to be
happy i'm now sad. i have times where i am
too happy for no reason. change is a part
of life i know that but these changes are
confusing. i did notice that the hot
flashes show up more when i get stressed.
any info or suggestions would be nice.

Yeah, I have the "pouch" thing going. I
am 4 1/2 months post-hyst. I am trying to
figure out how to lose that??? Did you
have your ovaries removed? Have you heard
of Black Cohosh? It's good for PMS or
menopause symptoms.
