I am 32 and I had a full hystorectomy 3years ago and I was wondering if anyone knew
why I would still have lower abdominal pain, hrts to have sex, and I appear to be 6-7 months pregnant, but I'm not. I've asked doctors but none will give me possible causes. Can anyone shed a possible light on this for me?
Thanks

Hello,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. Your concern is regarding the pain that you are having on the lower right abdomen after the appendectomy. The first possibility that is common after an abdominal surgery is adhesion formation in the abdomen. This can result in dull to severe pain in adbdomen. But otehr cervical and abdominal causes also need to be ruled out.

Investigations like ultrasound abdomen, CT abdomen are required to confirm a diagnosis. Please consult a gastroenterologist and get it examined.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
