Q: Hysterectomy for unterine prolapse

I've had a uterine prolapse for about 15 years since I had my first child. Sex now is not very good. I really can't feel much during intercourse so it must not be great for my husband either. I'm wondering if this gets better after removing the uterus or is there something else that needs to be done along with the hysterectomy. I know I need to do the hysterectomy anyway. I have terrible low back pain and that constant feeling that something is falling out. Any insight would be great. I've read a lot of these posts but haven't found one that addresses this question. Thanks!

After I had my hysterectomy, sex became awesome...The doctor commented that my husband must have been bumping against my tilted cervix....Believe me, he doesn't anymore....I think you will enjoy it.... Wink ..I sure do....

Good luck and enjoy...
